About Your Dentist

Dr. Taylor is a native of North Carolina, growing up in Monroe, North Carolina and moving to Raleigh in 1990 to attend North Carolina State University. He completed his undergraduate studies at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, graduating magna cum laude with a BS degree in Civil Engineering in 1994.

After working as a consulting engineer for several years, and earning his Professional engineer license, Dr. Taylor realized that he had a passion for helping people. His compassion and ambition to enter the field of dentistry began at one of the best dental schools in the nation in Chapel Hill. Although still a Wolfpack fan, Dr. Taylor is proud to have earned his DDS degree from the University Of North Carolina School Of Dentistry at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Taylor started Taylor Family Dentistry in October of 2007 and since has developed a real love for the community and its’ people. He’s a proud member of the McCullers Ruritan club who has two Barbecues a year (March and September) to raise money to give back to the community. He also enjoys continuing education and training in the field of dentistry. He has a beautiful wife who is from South Africa and 2 wonderful kids as well as a passion for the great outdoors. He enjoys spending as much time as he can with his family and friends and loves to travel.

After receiving her DMD degree, Dr. Valletti completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency through the University of Connecticut School of Dentistry. During her residency, she spent time caring for medically complex veterans at a VA dental clinic.

Dr. Valletti is committed to staying up to date on the latest trends in dentistry, and is currently working towards earning her fellowship in Academy of General Dentistry by taking advanced classes in restorative dentistry, clear aligner therapy, and digital dentistry.

Dr. Valletti is an active member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA) and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).

Life & Hobbies

Originally from Massachusetts, Dr. Valletti met her husband as an undergrad student at North Carolina State University and is proud to now call North Carolina “home”! In their free time, the couple loves to enjoy long walks with their dog, cook new cuisines, and travel. Dr. Valletti is also an avid reader and loves to discuss books with patients.
